Adopting theoretical approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Solution Focused Therapy Flourish practitioners apply interventions based on the individual need. Our family preservation and parent mentoring initiative, The Nurtured Seeds Program was developed to address the barriers and urgency for change within our communities, to enable families to remain together, parenting to be strengthened and encouraged and for young people in out of home care to be reunified to their family of origin where appropriate and family life restored. Using evidence based practice, through mentoring, upskilling and education Flourish aim to reduce the number of young people separated from their families and successfully restoring families who are already in the child protection system.
