Floorplan Studio Information

Floorplan Studio is a Contemporary online space and creative publishing platform. The artist collaborative values creativity as an essential component of everyday life. Floorplan explores ideas that make sense and bring meaning to the world we inhabit and are fascinated by the process of the everyday. We view art as a diverse tool that encompasses various fields, including science, history, ecology, the humanities, culture and politics. We welcome collaboration, shared projects, and community engagement. Mapping transformations over time, critically approaching everyday encounters, counter contextualising, deep ecology, diversity, examining clustered sea snails, exploring physical and non-physical space, water towers, artefacts, ecological, speculations, community, reciprocity. Floorplan is a collaborative project created and produced by Maya Martin-Westheimer and Sean Abrahams. Floorplan Studio is based on Cadigal country, part of the Eora Nation nowadays referred to as Sydney, Australia. The Gadigal People are part of seven clans in the Eora Nation and have an extensive culture, ecology, stories and songlines unique to their region.
