FlightPro offers specialist Ground Training in Melbourne, Florida, USA, for pilots wishing to qualify for the JAA ATPL, CPL or IR Pilot’s Licence, for Aeroplanes and Helicopters. FlightPro also offers examinations for the JAA PPL(A) and UK CAA RadioTelephony (R/T) Licence. FlightPro offers its services primarily to CAA and FAA Flight Schools who do not hold an approval for the JAA Theoretical Knowledge Training. Our training product provides unique access to FAA schools wishing to train their students for a dual qualification, without the need to seek separate approval. FlightPro seeks training partnerships with these schools, so that they can offer a cohesive training package as a single, branded, product. Our services are provided using state-of-the-art Computer Based Training, (CBT), via DVD software installed on the student's computer which covers all 14 examinations in a distance learning format. Full support is provided by a team of experienced instructors via online forums and email. Individual progress is monitored via our Management Reporting System and our Training Partners informed of their student's progress. The course is typically conducted during the "Time-Building" phase between the end of a Student's PPL and the start of their CPL, over a period of 24 weeks, but can be tailored to suit a particular Partner's training programme over any period up to a recommended maximum of 12 months. This typical 24 week period is divided into three study modules, each lasting 8 weeks. Week 6 of each module consists of an intensive period of classroom based "consolidation" learning at our premises in Melbourne, Florida. The Final JAA examinations are conducted during week 8 by the UK CAA at their examination centres in either Orlando, FL, or Oxnard, CA. The course is provided in association with Bristol Groundschool and is approved by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
