We travelled the world, from steakhouse to steakhouse, searching for the perfect steak, but discovered that beef from carefully reared cattle right here in Britain and cooked simply over real charcoal, packed more flavour than anything we tried on our travels. We opened our first restaurant in Spitalfields in 2006, and after four years of trying to get that one as good as possible we then opened in Seven Dials, Guildhall, Air Street, Knightsbridge and Borough as well our first restaurants outside of London, in other cities that we love – Manchester, Edinburgh and Liverpool. Our classic seasonal food and signature cocktails can now be enjoyed all over the country in locations that are quintessentially British and rich in heritage. We’re open all day from breakfast through to dinner, with a menu of classic British comforts and fresh seasonal creations, market fish delivered daily, fabulous afternoon teas, and traditional roasts on Sundays. We also proudly offer bespoke Gluten Free breakfast, A La Carte and Afternoon Tea menus, all accredited by Coeliac UK.
