Magnetica, after merging with Scientific Magnetics and Tecmag in January 2021, is a global compact MRI System Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Unlike traditional large and heavy whole-body MRI systems, Magnetica's focus is on smaller, lighter-weight superconducting MRI systems for dedicated applications such as MSK (Musculoskeletal) extremity imaging. Our systems include cryogen-free superconducting magnets, which require significantly lower infrastructure costs than traditional cryogen-cooled magnets, making them suitable for use in a variety of non-traditional locations.
