Founded in 2007 in historic downtown Kalispell, the Flathead Beacon is an award-winning, independent media company delivering free public-service journalism across Northwest Montana. With a strong focus on accountability reporting, in-depth storytelling, and community trust, we shine a light on the critical issues facing our region.
