Flash is, first and foremost, a group of passionate consumers who love amazing products from innovative and vibrant D2C brands, both big and small. As consumers, we love it when these brands go above and beyond to provide delightful experiences. But we think this doesn't happen often enough, especially now that we are all increasingly discovering new products via social media, publisher websites, and creators. We see this as a missed opportunity because brands simply don't have the tools to take advantage of this trend! We are building the technology that is optimised for these (and many others) points of discovery. Our checkout is built to be contextual and can therefore be accessed everywhere - via social media ads, SMS, email, QR codes, product packaging and other brand assets. In essence, our checkout makes the physical and digital worlds instantly shoppable and revolutionises the way people shop and interact with their favourite brands. Our business is both B2B and B2C. Our primary customers are innovative direct-to-consumer brands that care about providing the very best customer experience. But our technology will also end up in the hands of consumers that interact with and purchase products from these brands. We have recently secured €500,000 in pre-seed funding from Flash Ventures to help us build the product and recruit the team that can help us realise our vision.
