Od osnivanja, daleke 1922. godine pa sve do danas, FK Velež Mostar baštinio je vrijednosti antifašističke borbe, borbe za radnička i prava svakog čovjeka, jednakopravnosti, pravednog sportskog nadmetanja, te ljubavi prema sportu u cjelini, našem prelijepom gradu Mostaru i svima nam zajedničkoj domovini Bosni i Hercegovini. FK Velež Mostar sa ponosom ističe da ga podržava najstarija registrovana navijačka grupa u Bosni i Hercegovini, popularni „Red Army“, osnovan 1981. godine. From its founding, back in 1922, until today, FC Velež Mostar has inherited the values of anti-fascism, the fight for labor rights and the rights of every human being, equality, fair sports competition, and love for sports as a whole, our beautiful city of Mostar and our homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina. FC Velež Mostar proudly points out that we are supported by the oldest registered fan group in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the popular "Red Army", founded in 1981.
