FixMeUp is THE matchmaking application for the Facebook world. Up until now the online dating market has been in chaos, with more disappointments and failures than successes. Plus, let’s be honest, it was often just weird. FixMeUp’s main objective (just like in real life) is to get people together through trusted matchmakers -- and who better to fill this role than your friends. There has been much talk about the power of Facebook's "Second Circle of Friends," which has been used very successfully by advertisers and other professional networks. We thought: why not use these circles for a truly worthwhile cause like finding love? (Or even something less than love) Inside the application, the user is invited to select if he or she wants to be a dater, a cupid (i.e. a matchmaker) or both. From this moment on, the games begin. Through FixMeUp, the search for love becomes fun and entertaining but most importantly honest and real. Turning the date into a fun virtual experience allows the daters to open up, share real moments together and "break the ice" much more easily.
