FiveFold Intelligence Corp. is a Maryland legal-technology company building AI tools for work where a missed detail has real consequences. Our flagship product is Pretext™, a Defense Intelligence Platform currently in private beta with criminal defense firms. Defense attorneys often have less than two days to absorb a full prosecution packet before a bail hearing. Pretext turns that packet into a structured analysis in minutes: a bail-review summary, a charge-by-charge criminal analysis against the documented evidence, and a full transcript of the body-camera footage checked line by line against the written police report for contradictions. Every closed case also feeds a shared layer of intelligence: structured, de-identified patterns in how specific judges, prosecutors, and officers actually behave. That kind of insight used to live in relationships and phone calls between attorneys. Pretext puts it at their fingertips instead, and it gets sharper as more firms join. Because that analysis feeds directly into legal strategy, every citation shows exactly where it came from, and is only marked verified once an attorney has checked it personally, the system never confirms its own work. Case files are isolated by firm at the database level and are never used to train a model. Pretext has been shaped directly by the Maryland defense attorneys using it, and we’re staying narrow for now, other states come once the model has proven out here.
