Five Rivers Conservation Trust Information

With a mission to sustain healthy communities by connecting people to nature and conserving land forever, Five Rivers Conservation Trust is a nonprofit land trust serving the Greater Capital Region of New Hampshire. We conserve land important to our region with a focus on farms, forests, water resources, and recreational access. Our landscape is notable for the five waterways that converge here: the Merrimack, Contoocook, Blackwater, Warner, and Soucook Rivers. We envision productive farms and forests, clean water, thriving wildlife habitats, and climate-resilient landscapes throughout our region. We envision communities where people access the outdoors near home, feel connected to nature, and understand and advocate for the benefits of land conservation.
