Envision a world where the extraction of finite resources for construction is a thing of the past. That's the vision behind Five Mile Radius. We are an architecture and furniture studio specialising in designing with construction and demolition waste. Since our establishment in 2019, we've successfully diverted nearly 50 tonnes of waste from landfills through our furniture line and designed $5 million worth of building stock using circular economy principles. Our mission is to assist Brisbane in transitioning to a circular construction culture founded on respect for material resources. What sets Five Mile Radius apart is our ability to both design and manufacture under one roof. We serve as a one-stop shop for both corporations and the public looking to create sustainable spaces, expediting the transition to a circular future. Interest in our business continues to grow, with 2024 marking our collaboration with some of Brisbane's largest developers and architects on city-shaping projects, and online store sales increasing by 600%. We believe Brisbane needs this business, and that together with our cities design community, we will catalyse Brisbane's transition to a sustainable built environment.
