Five Flags Center Information

Located in the heart of Dubuque's historic downtown is an entire city block of entertainment. Five Flags Center is a multipurpose facility which houses sporting events, theatrical performances, stage productions, concerts, weddings, meetings and conventions, shows and much more! Dubuque Five Flags Center is comprised of three primary components: Five Flags Theater The Beautiful renovated 1910 historical theater is home of the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, Rising Star Theatre Company, Broadway shows, high school productions, and more. This theater is on the National Historic Landmark Registry. Five Flags Arena Five Flags Arena is a great venue for family shows, concerts, sporting events, community events, and more. The Bijou Room Home of Fly-By-Night Productions providing "theater in an intimate space."​ The namesake, Five Flags Center, acclaims the “five national flags” that have flown over Dubuque since 1673. The five flags represented are: the Fleur de Lis of France, the Royal Flag of Spain, the Union Jack of England, the French Republic Flag of Napoleon, and America’s Stars and Stripes.
