Five Apes is an early stage technology company with an innovative new computing paradigm in the general fields of pattern recognition, machine learning and vision computing. Five Apes has grown from a life long ambition of a technologist to solve complex problems with elegant orthogonal solutions. He spent 10+ years in academia working on the technology platform and believes it is now ready to be commercialized. This technologist was recently joined by one of the original executives at Aliph (makers of the Jawbone Bluetooth headset) who helped transform the Company from a DARPA funded R&D shop for military applications into the award winning consumer brand Jawbone. Five Apes is well funded by the founders and executives (both current and former) of companies such as Alta Vista, Apple, Creative Artists Agency, Disney, Drugstore.com, eHow, Facebook, Good Technology, Google, LinkedIn, Palantir, Paypal and SuccessFactors. Five Apes has commitments from a few initial revenue generating customers and has begun work on our own consumer applications.
