Fishserve is a seafood industry owned non-profit company that has a discrete and prescribed role within fisheries management. Since 1999, Fishserve has provided the administration services to support the effective operation of Aotearoa New Zealand’s Quota Management System, underpinning the sustainability of Aotearoa New Zealand's fisheries. And at Fishserve we are dedicated to delivering our vision to ‘Support fishers to feed the world for generations to come - Ka tautoko i ngā kaihao ki te whāngai i te ao hei ngā reanga haere ake nei. This vision reflects: • Our passion for those working to provide the best seafood in the world. • Our respect for the importance of the Quota Management System (QMS) and sustainable fishing practices in maintaining healthy fisheries for the future. Our strategy is based around the specialist role Fishserve plays. As a business we enable successful and sustainable commercial fisheries through the provision of relevant and robust information services and high integrity administration of the Quota Management System.
