Home of Australia's Seafood, Sydney Fish Market (SFM) is the largest market of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and the world's second largest seafood market in terms of variety outside of Japan. A working fish market, SFM sources' product both nationally and internationally and trades over 14,500 tonnes of seafood annually - with up to a hundred species of sustainable Australian seafood traded every day. SFM employs approximately fifty-seven staff to organise the weekday wholesale auction, promote Sydney Fish Market as the centre of seafood excellence and operate the Sydney Seafood School. Since opening in 1989, Sydney Seafood School has played an important part in persuading Sydney residents to eat more fish. The School is considered to be one of Australia’s leading cooking schools. Onsite, SFM hosts six seafood retailers, a bottle shop, fruit and veg market, bakery, sushi bar, restaurants, gift shop and deli.

Fish Lovers is a family owned seafood cafe nestled in among the eateries at Rosalie Village situated on Baroona Road, Rosalie in Brisbane. Having access to Queensland's abundant supply of fresh seafood, we prepare the freshest local catch for you to take home and cook yourself,and we will serve you the best traditional fish & chips you will ever taste. Select your own fresh fillet from the high quality selection on display, or a choice off the extensive whiteboard menu and combine it with our daily prepared fresh salads. Take away orders can be placed or a table booked by contacting us on (07) 3217 6511. As an added incentive, bringing your own bottle won't add to the bill, as there is no corkage charge.
