Fischer, Schemmer & Silbiger MD PA Information

In 1968, Dr. Frank Fischer, Jr. started the practice in Winter Haven and, since that time, it has grown tremendously. After Dr. Gary Schemmer joined the practice in 1986, we expanded into Lake Wales, and five years later opened an office and optical center in Bartow. Dr. Jonathan Silbiger then joined the practice in 1992, enabling us to offer additional services in Haines City. Dr. Frank Fischer III, joined Fischer, Schemmer & Silbiger MD PA in July 2000, which allowed us to expand and offer services at two locations in Lakeland and one location in Sebring. Dr. Alexei Moraczewski, a glaucoma specialist, joined the practice in August 2007. The philosophy of Fischer, Schemmer & Silbiger MD PA is to provide the highest quality care, both personal and professional. In keeping with this philosophy, we perform our outpatient surgery in two ambulatory surgery centers (located in Winter Haven and Sebring) dedicated solely to ophthalmology. The centers include two full service operating rooms and a laser room, as well as a minor surgery suite. These centers allow us to perform refractive procedures (LASIK) safely in a fully certified surgery center
