Formed in a sixth form common room back in 2001, FirstCar started out as a single magazine, but now has grown in to market-leading, award-winning publishing company. Leading publishers in the young driver and now driving instructor sector, road safety is at the core of all what we do. The portfolio includes, but not limited to: • Print: 2m magazines published annually. including the original The Young Driver’s Guide. FirstCar Theory and FirstCar Practical target every single learner and newly qualified driver in the UK respectively and are published under exclusive licence from the government. • Digital: firstcar.co.uk, intelligentinstructor.co.uk, 140k+ young driver and 5k driving instructor opt in databases • Events: Young Driver Focus, FirstCar Awards, Young Driver Road Safety Awards, ADINJC & Intelligent Instructor Conference & Expo, Intelligent Instructor Awards • Film: creator of the world’s first road safety video, and now producer of dozens more • Special projects: works closely with road safety authorities to create and manage bespoke marketing campaigns, such as now including The Honest Truth in its portfolio
