The industry has been on a record-breaking streak of growth in hotel rooms sold and hotel taxes collected for the past decade. With convention business as the backbone of our sales activity, our sales staff consistently exceeds aggressive sales goals. Thanks to the Music City Center and Gaylord Opryland Resort, Cvent named Nashville as the No. 2 top meeting destination in the country. Hotel construction is at a record pace with thousands of projected hotel rooms being added in the next few years. The NCVC produces the city’s two largest, one-day events on July 4th and New Year’s Eve. Both events sell thousands of hotel rooms, draws in tens of thousands of visitors and generate millions of dollars in direct visitor spending. The NCVC works closely with the City of Nashville and the Mayor’s Office, and we are governed by a volunteer board made up of outstanding community leaders.

Times Square Alliance, founded in 1992, works to improve and promote Times Square. In addition to providing safety and sanitation services, the Alliance coordinates many major events in Times Square including New Year’s Eve, manages an Information Center and advocates on behalf of its constituents with respect to a host of public policy, planning and quality-of-life issues.
