First Interactive AS is a Norwegian company based on technology/engineering and was established in the 2000. The company has spent 9 years developing a suite of advanced 3D real-time industrial software (analytical visualization and simulation software) that can be used by a multitude of businesses in different industries. First Interactive is partly owned by Aker Solutions since February 2008. Through the acquisition of a majority stake in First Interactive, Aker Solutions will help First Interactive extend the market potential of the step changing technology. First Interactive has focused on and receives its main revenue stream from the drilling segment of the offshore oil and gas industry. By combining the industrial software with engineering competences, company is able to help the drilling segment tackle traditional high risk challenges in a new, more cost efficient and risk reducing way. First Interactive solutions provide real content to the concept of Integrated Operations. First Interactive currently employs 86 experienced people of 16 different nationalities in 5 locations; Stavanger, Oslo, Bergen - Norway, St. Petersburg - Russia and Kharkiv - Ukraine.
