From its humble beginnings, the dance school and associated events established and managed by Andrzej and his team have gone from strength to strength and Andrzej recently won a major award for his contribution to Latin and Ballroom dancing in the UK. As well as tuition of Ballroom and Latin Dancing at all levels, Step by Step run 'Strictly' style charity events across Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire. Collaboration with well-known organisations and institutions has inspired and excited hundreds of local personalities to put their best 'Strictly' foot forward in pursuit of raising money for very worthy causes. Featuring contestants drawn from all walks of life in the local community from sports stars and politicians to musicians and health workers. All of them have braved the stage, stepped out into the spotlight and done something they never believed they could do....dance in front of hundreds of people in a fantastic atmosphere on stage. Andrzej set up the first Strictly in Northampton in 2010 and, since then, the shows he and his Step by Step team organises - have raised almost £2 million for various charities, a fantastic achievement and testament to the effort and passion of all involved. Friends and advocates include Bernie Keith and other presenters/producers of BBC Radio Northampton, The Oxford Mail and Times, Bill Heine from BBC Radio Oxford, Sky Sports Presenters, ITV weather presenter Laura Tobin, Inspiration FM presenter Mark Dean, TV Strictly stars Brian Fortuna, Joanne Clifton, Giovanni Pernice and Robin Windsor and Christopher Biggins, Star of I Claudius and 'I'm a Celebrity Get me out of here!' and many more. In 2011, Step by Step Dance began running dance competitions for local primary schools in Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire to introduce Ballroom & Latin American dancing to teachers & provide life long memories for children and their families.
