Gary has been in the electrical industry since 1972 and started First Choice Electrics from his study at home in 1994, taking a few customers from his previous business partnership with his brother. He quickly built up his customer base with a never say no attitude, strong work ethic and reliable service primarily based and focused on providing electrical maintenance to the real estate industry - These qualities laid the foundations for First Choice Electrics as we know it today. Gary's son Lee was the first apprentice the company took on at the end of 2001 and, after 2 years as a qualified electrician, Gary approached Lee in July 2007 to become a partner in the business. The business eventually built up to the point that it had far out grown Gary's modest home office and in 2009 the company relocated to an office and workshop in Joondalup. These days Lee and Gary share the role of running the business and a large number of real estate agencies call upon our services to maintain, electrically, the properties under their management. In January 2010, Gary's other son and Lee's brother Adam made the switch from qualified civil engineer to apprentice electrician with a view to one day partnering Lee to run the business when Gary one day decides it is time to pull back. Mid 2012, First Choice Electrics moved to a larger office, next door, to build an office and workshop that will see the company into the next phase of the business.
