FIRST Robotics Society is a registered charity and a primarily volunteer-run organization, responsible for delivering FIRST programs throughout the province of Alberta as FIRST Alberta. Founded in 2013, we rely entirely on the amazing generosity of our forward-thinking sponsors and the countless hours put in by volunteers. Through these, we are able to support organizations all over Alberta to deliver outstanding, fun and educational programs for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our organization helps co-ordinate all aspects of FIRST programming, including connecting students with local teams, finding mentors to help support those teams, providing educational resources to teams, and organizing Alberta’s top-level robotics competitions. We encourage you to join us in whatever way you can. As a student, a mentor, a speaker, a volunteer, a sponsor, or even as a cheerleader, we would love the opportunity to introduce you to the programs that have captivated us and thousands across the world!
