FireWise Consulting Information

FireWise has provided consulting and training to the fire service across Western Canada since 2008. Through our FireWise Learning Academy, we offer online courses including NFPA 1033 Fire Investigation Education featuring Dr. John DeHaan, and Institution of Fire Engineers–endorsed Fire Inspections training for firefighters and building owners. Our consulting work spans fire department master plans, standards of cover reports, fire apparatus specification recommendations, new fire hall public consultation, inspections, audits, administrative reviews, and operational readiness and staffing reviews. We work with local governments, crown corporations, and publicly traded companies across Canada. We've hosted workshops, seminars, and education events featuring subject matter experts in the field, and our team has provided expert testimony and opinions on legal cases involving local governments and fire departments.
