Formed by Simon Bradbury and Eric Ouellette, of the Caesar and Lords of the Realm series, the company has created many high profile and commercially successful video games. These include the multi-million selling Stronghold series, strategy MMO Stronghold Kingdoms, co-op city builder Romans: Age of Caesar and recently announced Stronghold: Definitive Edition. Firefly employs over 40 staff with offices in London, Aberdeen and West Hartford, CT. In 2021 Firefly Studios was acquired by Austin-based games publisher Devolver Digital.
