Firebone is an integrated design firm. We exist to make healthcare organizations more capable of exceptional care. Evidence shows that exceptional clinical outcomes are activated through a meaningful patient experience. But there's no one thing capable of creating a meaningful patient experience just by itself. Instead, effective healthcare is produced through a nonlinear set of activities and interactions between the service elements. That's why we created the Firebone Service Star. Our Service Star is a robust framework that coordinates healthcare delivery’s components as a constellation and calls them into a unified existence where every element is essential every element is unique but no single element is the point. The patient is the point and exceptional care the aim. We've completely deconstructed the traditional, closed-function model to help healthcare organizations solve their most exacting challenges using an interdisciplinary human-centered design approach. We call it Open Service Design. It's not just patient focused, it's patient-led.
