FinTech New Zealand brings together Aotearoa's financial technology community — more than 160 members from financial services, technology, and government working to advance the fintech ecosystem through connections, advocacy, growing talent, and collaboration. As an active part of Tech New Zealand, we're part of a connected network of 16 communities representing thousands of organisations and tens of thousands of workers nationwide. Together, we bring our expertise to ensure technology is shaped in ways that serve our people, our places, and our future. Since 2016, we've built a reputation as a trusted partner across financial services and technology — promoting the economic opportunities raised by fintech while ensuring New Zealand's financial sector can adapt responsibly to the rapid changes financial technology brings. Our working groups in WealthTech NZ, RegTech NZ, FinTech for Good and Sustainable Finance drive thought leadership and create resources valuable to the whole sector. We bring fintech to life through influential research, policy submissions, and our annual FinTech Hui Taumata — New Zealand's premier fintech ecosystem gathering, drawing over 300 delegates — alongside the Aotearoa New Zealand Open Banking Ecosystem Map & Report and the annual NZ Fintech Pulsecheck.
