The logistics centre was finished in 2000 and and has later been enlarged. The transport connections from Jussla are good to all parts of Finland. In 2017, Finnfrost's turnover was some 439 million € and the number of employees was about 190. By combining the purchasing power of its customers, Finnfrost is able to offer an extensive range of products and cost-effective logistics services. Finnfrost purchases retail trade and foodservice products from Finland and abroad. The selections are formed based on the needs and the decisions of the customers. Finnfrost has a few hundred contract suppliers and several thousand frozen food and ice cream products in its selection. The logistics services provided by Finnfrost include the storage of products and the delivery to the customers. Deliveries to customers are done with FRC-certified transport equipment that meets the requirements for transportation of frozen goods. The objective of Finnfrost is to develop operating models together with the customers and cooperation partners in order to achieve the best demand-based, customer-serving purchasing and logistics network on the market.
