Finham Park School Information

At Finham Park we offer a range of musical extra curricular activities to enhance our student's musical experiences. The following ensembles are all run by the school:Guitar EnsembleWindbandString GroupGlee ClubSoul BandRock NightsSchool ShowThere are given several opportunities to perform during the year as part of these groups as well as in small ensembles and as soloists. Performance opportunities include: Festive Concert in December, Rock Nights, A-Level & GCSE Concert, Shine Week and the School Show as well as in various school assemblies. Last year two Finham bands performed in the 'National Rock and Pop Festival' at Birmingham Town Hall. In addition to these performance groups we also run Music Theory classes. Regular trips are organised to concerts, these include the CBSO at Symphony Hall for gifted and talented students in KS3 and GCSE/A-level students. We also run an annual trip to see a major West End Show in London for students in Years 9 and above, previous shows have included 'Wicked' and 'Sister Act'.
