Fine Grade Equipment, Inc. is a certified DBE/MBE/WBE/SBE general construction firm specializing in finish grading; cement treated base and soil cement. Our company has worked on virtually all of the major freeways, as well as many of the airports and levee systems, in Southern California and has also completed projects in Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Texas. Finishing sub-grade, sub-base, and aggregate base courses under either asphalt or PCC pavements is our specialty. We have the in-house capability to build and convert GPS models and our company's motor graders are fully equipped with Topcon GPS machine and automatic slope controls. Our professional crews have worked together for many years completing jobs efficiently. Our experience in soil cement extends to several different areas, including levee and dam armoring, large reservoir linings, and cement-treated bases. The company owns four portable pug mill plants capable of producing up to 1000 tons of soil cement per hour. Mixing in place is also an option should a project require it. We offer complete service in mixing, placing and compacting soil cement for all project needs. The following is a short list of some the projects we have worked on. At Denver International Airport we completed 500,000 cubic yards of cement treated base for Ball, Ball & Brosamer and Kasler and +/- 80,000,000 square feet of soil cement and lime treatment for various contractors. We helped complete the Otay Rivers Project performed by the joint venture of The Washington Group and Parsons-Brinkerhoff. We finished the roadway, shoulder sub-grade and placed, compacted and finished the Class IV and Class II bases on this twelve mile project. We completed the earthwork, P209, and the cement treated base at the Ontario International Airport for Griffith Company. Fine Grade Equipment, Inc just completed work on the temporary and main runways for Ch2MHill/IHC at Edwards Air Force Base. We have done numerous jobs at LAX for Griffith Company and R&L Brosamer, including several runways, taxiways, and maintenance areas. We have continued to work for Kiewit, Granite, R&L Brosamer, Washington Group and Skanska formerly known as E.L. Yeager over the years, just to mention a few.
