Started in 2011, FinderCodes, set out to reinvent the lost and found process using technologies available today. The company subsequently developed a digital tagging system using QR codes and a proprietary software application for the iPhone and Android platforms. The system facilitates a "finder" and an "owner" to anonymously communicate to coordinate the return of a lost item and yet protect each others identities. FinderCodes has a strategic alliance and blended system software called Re-Turnit™ with FedEx® that allows for a "drop 'N go", long distance return solution for a finder to ship a lost item back to the owner. The effort earned FinderCodes the ability to claim a historical first - using the FedEx Office® logo on a retail product. The company has two patents pending to support these technologies. FinderCodes has both B2B solutions for CPGs and B2C retail products that are currently in big box retailers across the U.S. and Canada. They are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
