Linda started Find the Children to promote communication between local and federal law enforcement, the media, and the parents of abducted children. Linda produced the film, "Adam," which aired on television in 1983. The movie depicted the story about the kidnapping and murder of her friend John Walsh's son [Adam]. At the end of the movie, a photo roll call of missing children played on the screen. As a result, several of the children were found. It was the first time media was used to find missing children. Find The Children is a tax exempt 501(c)3 organization and a 509(a)(2) designated California Public Charity. quicklinks
