Lismore and District Financial Counselling Service Inc. (LDFCS) is a not-for-profit, incorporated community organisation formed in 1990 and incorporated on 12th June 2002 to provide financial counselling to people in Lismore and the Northern Rivers to alleviate poverty. LDFCS is an organisation governed by a volunteer Management Committee. Our funding comes from the Commonwealth Financial Counselling Program and the NSW Credit Counselling Program. We do not accept funds from Credit providers. LDFCS operates as a financial counselling service to support and empower client's to take control of their finances and alleviate their poverty.
