Figtree Grove Shopping Centre (formally known as Westfield Figtree) has proudly been serving the Wollongong region since 1965. The Centre comprises of over 80 specialty stores and is anchored by Coles, Woolworths and a 24hr Kmart. Along with the community, the Centre has evolved over the past 50 years, undergoing four redevelopments. The first of these took place in 1975, which upgraded the Centre from Neighbourhood to Regional Shopping Centre. It was again redeveloped in 1987, 1992 and more recently in 2009, which saw the addition of 15 new stores. Figtree Grove Shopping Centre was sold by Scentre Group in September 2015 and is managed by 151 Property and Jones Lang LaSalle.
