Its objectives are to establish high quality, safety and hygiene standards as well as efficient testing and approval processes for these technologies and to provide legal certainty for manufacturers, installers, operators and, first and foremost, consumers who are depending on a safe, environmentally sound and reliable supply of water and gas. With currently around 340 member companies the figawa today is developing from an on the German market and the work on German standards and regulations focused association to an European and international player in the technical self-regulation.
