Fierce Earth was established in 1997 by Mark Ball and is an award winning creative company. Over the past thirteen years the company’s activities have been focussed on: • Developing entrepreneurship and leadership capacity within the Birmingham and the region’s rapidly expanding creative industries through the delivery of highly acclaimed and bespoke professional development programmes for artists and creative entrepreneurs. • Promoting Birmingham as a world-class centre for culture and the creative industries through the delivery of festivals and events that have attracted widespread critical acclaim and media attention. • Developing a culture of experimentation for artists and audiences, primarily through the delivery of the annual Fierce Festival from 1998-2008.
