Kearsney College is a leading independent traditional boys' high school, located between Pietermaritzburg and Durban in the Valley of 1000 Hills, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The school was founded in 1921 and caters for boarders and day scholars.
St Benedict's is a modern South African school with excellent facilities, built on a 40-acre site in Bedfordview, Gauteng. It was established in 1958 by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, a congregation of priests and brothers, founded in 1816 by Saint Eugene de Mazenod, Bishop of Marseilles, France.
The property is owned by the St Benedict's Trust and the School is administered by a Board of Governors, with day-to-day operations conducted by a headmaster, principals, deputies and top academic and sports staff.
St Benedict's is not only South Africa's largest Catholic School, but also one of the country's finest and most successful schools! It caters for 620 College and 800 Preparatory School boys - from reception in Grade 0 through to matriculation in Grade.12. Bishop Grandin House, our boarding facility, situated on the property, offers both weekly and termly boarding and accommodates eighty-four boys from Grade 7 to Grade 12.
Clifton, the Independent boys’ school in Durban, is situated in the beautiful suburb of Morningside.
We are proud to offer world-class, holistic education for boys from Grade 00 through to Grade 12, catering specifically to the development of boys into responsible, confident and competent young men.
A boys’ school by conviction, Clifton provides an educational environment that is designed to facilitate learning and assist in developing young men of character, who share an uncompromising belief in the power of family values, who thrive on competition, delight in discovery, exercise compassion and are courageous in their choices.
We walk this journey of progress and development with our young men and, as you will see from our public media, there are numerous activities and opportunities from which our boys can choose and grow.
At the same time, we are conscious of our motto, “ Prodesse Quam Conspici” – to accomplish, rather than to be conspicuous. As such, our boys remain humble and well-mannered.
Take some time to explore our social profiles and website. Better still, we invite you to visit us at our campus in Morningside, where you will be warmly received.
We hope that you will experience the sense of enjoyment that our boys and staff feel from being part of this wonderful school.
