Visit SLO CAL is the non-profit countywide destination marketing organization. Its goal is to promote San Luis Obispo County through marketing, advertising, public relations, group sales, promotions, events and sponsorship branding the region as a choice destination for regional, national and international travelers alike. Visit SLO CAL works in partnership with tourism industry-related businesses including lodging properties, restaurants, wineries, activities, golf courses and retail stores to create a unified marketing approach that promotes the Culinary, Coastal and Cultural assets of the County.

Established in 1989, Long Meadow Ranch now operates a dynamic business that comprises multiple wine estates, namely Rutherford, Mayacamas and Anderson Valley. Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch in St. Helena also boasts an American farmhouse restaurant, chef’s table, outdoor café, farmers market, general store, and wine tasting bar. Lead by the Hall family, Long Meadow Ranch is a pioneer of Full Circle Farming, an organic, sustainable, integrated farming system that relies on each part of the ranch to contribute to the health of the full operation. The Hall family is currently cultivating over 2,000 acres of land that produce grapes, olives, fruits, vegetables and pasture including one of the largest folds of Highland Cattle in the U.S. In September 2018 Long Meadow Ranch acquired Stony Hill Vineyard on Spring Mountain, known since the 1950’s for producing terroir-driven, age-worthy Chardonnay with low-alcohol, beautiful acidity and minerality. From one family to the next, Long Meadow Ranch looks forward to becoming the next stewards of this iconic winery.

After nearly 50 years in the wine business, we understand the ins and outs of the industry, from the trends to the challenges. We believe that our success is due to our vineyard expertise. Each year renews in us an intense drive to understand, react to, and work with each vineyard to allow it to reach its full potential. This process, led by our General Manager and vineyard management team, is crucial for vineyard development and growth. We are a farming family with nearly 50 years of experience growing grapes in the Napa Valley. With more than 2,000 acres of planted vineyards, we sell 97% of our grapes to other premium wineries and reserve just 3% for the Laird Family Estate, which we established in 1999. From the thick fog and marine winds in Carneros to the volcanic soils mixed with ancient coastal deposits in the lower bench of the Mayacamas Mountains, we farm our vineyards to produce fruit that best complements the hallmarks of the land.
