Krommenhoek is een Familiebedrijf opgericht in 1955 in Schiedam. In de begin jaren als transport & handelsbedrijf in de breedste zin des woord. Sinds begin jaren ’80 heeft Ruud Krommenhoek het bedrijf opgebouwd tot een wereldspeler in de internationale machinehandel. In de jaren ’80 was vooral de handel in gebruikte heftrucks belangrijk, maar door de wereldwijde vraag naar bouwmachines is Krommenhoek de laatste decennia uitgegroeid tot een totaal aanbieder voor compacte en zware machines voor Bouw, Industrie en logistieke sector. Recentelijk is het bedrijf overgedragen aan de 3e generatie Krommenhoek die het bedrijf de komende jaren voort gaan zetten.
