FFLAG's 20th Anniversary Conference 'Coming Out 2013 - Parents, Families and LGBT Communities' has been made possible by Big Lottery Funding. The Big Lottery Fund distributes on behalf of the National Lottery to good causes across the UK. The Fund aims to enable others to make real improvements to communities and the lives of people most in need. FFLAG Trustees starting planning for this event last summer and learnt that our application to Awards for All had been successful at Christmas. Planning for events such as this are always challenging and time consuming. Not only do we want to thank the Big Lottery for enabling us to mark this 20th Anniversary, but also to say thank you to all at LGBT Consortium. Consortium's CEO Paul Roberts has helped us at every stage of the funding application and planning. So thank you all everyone who has made 'Coming Out 2013' happen - and we look forward to welcoming you to Birmingham in April.
