(Bill) Findley, Jr. founded FESCO as Findley Engineering Service Company in 1949. Together with Garman Kimmell of KIMRAY, Inc. in Oklahoma City, he developed a portable laboratory known as the Split Stream Lab Truck, designed to determine optimum separation conditions for gas-condensate wells directly at the well site. This practical, customer-focused innovation laid the foundation for the company’s continued growth and diversification. From these humble beginnings until his passing in 2018, Bill Findley guided FESCO’s evolution into a diversified oilfield service company. During his leadership, the organization expanded to more than 1,100 employees and 21 district offices across four states. Today, FESCO continues that legacy through its 17-location network, combining decades of technical knowledge with experienced personnel and quality equipment.
