Ferguson Mann Architects Information

Ferguson Mann Architects is a well established, award-winning, design led practice founded in 1978 with the acclaimed inner city regeneration scheme at Trenchard Street in Bristol - one of the first inner city regeneration projects of its time that integrated conservation and new building practices for the delivery of social housing. The practice is based in Bristol and operates primarily in the South West of England, but with an operational area that extends to include Wales in the North and across to Swindon in the East. The practice was founded by George Ferguson, former president of the RIBA and ex-Mayor of Bristol, and Philip Mann (retd). Founded in conservation work, the practice has developed broad sector experience driven by the reuse of existing buildings cross-cutting many sectors. Since 1995 the practice has developed particular expertise in the fields of conservation, masterplanning and regeneration.
