FEPSS Information

Headquartered in Windsor-Essex, Ontario, FEPSS is a pioneering human-oriented e-commerce venture that specializes in subtitle services for audio/visual productions, including closed captions and SDH (Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing). But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Our broad suite of localization services include subtitles and video translations in over 200 language pairs, with a focus on English, French, and Spanish; along with transcription, voice overs, dubbing, and remote interpretation. We also offer professional services such as proofreading, video editing, and graphic designs. Our mission is to break down barriers in effective communication, encompassing language, accent, and various forms such as written, visual, verbal, and non-verbal communication. In doing so, we aim to bridge language gaps, enhance the human connection by reducing misunderstandings, and foster a more inclusive and accessible world. We have a standard guideline that adheres to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) standards for captions, the Described and Captioned Media Program (DCMP) Captioning Key, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) success criteria for pre-recorded captioning. We comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). We further incorporate Canada’s Standard on Information and Communication Technology Accessibility (SICTA) into our standard guidelines to ensure your content meets accessibility targets and is acceptable to most global digital streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video and more. With that in mind, you are welcome to give us your customized/alternate subtitle guidelines for your visual productions. At FEPSS, we are committed to facilitating seamless communication, fostering understanding, and empowering businesses to reach their full potential in the global marketplace.
