Fendor Ltd designs, manufactures and installs specialist glazing products for a range of applications including Fire, Blast Resistance, Security (including Home Office approved custodial glazing), Healthcare, Acoustic and standard glazing system. With an extensive range of products for all healthcare applications including secure care, the range includes CleanVent® (the only cleanable horizontal sliding secure window), Slipper Clutch® (vandal proof anti ligature ironmongery), SlideVent™ and much more. With the demise of PensherSkytech, Fendor welcomed Derek Quinn, technical manager to our team. With many years experience including work on T5, embassies and petrochemical refineries, Derek has redefined blast resistant products with a range of new doors, windows, curtain and blast wall systems, tested at BakerRisk, Texas. Technical competence is a byword at Fendor, and our specialist knowledge of fire glazing has won us many prestigious contracts including the Sage Music Centre, Kings Cross London and Marks and Spencer’s Head Office. Fendor's technical manager Martin Smith is happy to advise on the correct fire rating for a given application. Most recently, Fendor has worked closely with the Home Office to develop a range of approved 'barless' windows for the custodial sector. Suited to police custody cells and other secure appllications, CellGuard™ herlads a new era in safe, secure and aesthetically pleasing custodial design.
