Femcoder is a nonprofit organization based in the USA aiming to increase the number of women in technology and computer science. As an international organization our mission is to support, educate, empower and energize women by building a pool of motivated people with same tech interests. To balance out the gender gap and financial differences in this industry by giving access to affordable coding workshops and networking events based on location. Workshops are available in multiple countries in Europe and The United States. In the future, an annual free workshop will be available in East Africa through our program “Femcoder - Education through Technology” starting with Arusha, Tanzania. Depending on location, workshops are available in English, French, Spanish, Serbian, Bulgarian and Romanian.
