The Feenix Trust is a public benefit organisation that connects indebted university students with funding communities using technology. We connect students with communities that can provide the support they need to succeed in university and life after. This includes crowdfunding, bursary programmes, and wrap around student support. Individuals and businesses who have an interest in supporting youth education are able to find a student they connect with and contribute either a portion of or the entire outstanding fees amount. Individuals and businesses can also donate directly to the Feenix Pool Fund which is allocated in accordance with the B-BBEE criteria. Organisations can receive recognition in both Skills Development (SD) and Socio- economic Development (SED) categories when supporting Feenix students. This is dependent on the organisation’s workplace skills plan.
