Federation of Transport Trade Unions in Bulgaria Information

Federation of Transport Trade Unions in Bulgaria /FTTUB/ consists of more than 80 trade unions and represents over 10 000 workers from all sectors of transport and telecommunications – civil aviation, maritime transport, inland waterways, road transport, railways, transport infrastructure, transport hospitals, logistics, telecommunications and tourism. The FTTUB is an affiliate of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria /CITUB/, which unites 35 federations with more than 280 thousand members, the European Transport Workers' Federation /ETF/, comprising 2.5 million transport workers from 231 unions in 41 European countries and the International Transport Workers’ Federation /ITF/, uniting 708 federations with over 4.5 million transport workers from 154 countries. Through these organizations FTTUB affiliates in the European Trade Union Confederation /ETUC/ and the International Trade Union Confederation /ITUC/. Thousands of Bulgarian workers, members of FTTUB know that their membership in the Union provides for better working conditions, better payment and better representation of the company, industry, on local, national and European level.
