The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is one of 12 Reserve banks in the Federal Reserve System that, along with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., serve as the central bank of the United States. Located in the nation’s heartland, the St. Louis Fed serves the public and communities in the Eighth Federal Reserve District: all of Arkansas and portions of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
