Its cofounders are the CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL LEGAL STUDIES, Salzburg, Austria; the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS), Cologne, Germany; the Centre of European Law, King's College London, London, England, United Kingdom; Suffolk University Law School, Boston, Massachusetts; and Pepperdine University Law School, Malibu, California, United States. Global Orals are held at rotating venues in November, with various National and Regional qualifying rounds held in July or August of each year.
