FDE Hub Information

FDE Hub is an independent publication on the craft of Forward Deployed Engineering, the discipline of embedding with clients to take AI from demo to production. Twice a week, it publishes essays drawn from live enterprise AI deployments and interviews with FDE practitioners and leaders from companies including Palantir, Sierra, Ramp, Cresta and Baseten. The State of FDE report, an analysis of 2,000 practitioner profiles, is the most comprehensive study of the role published to date. The publication is written by Milos Mandic, a Forward Deployed Engineer working across enterprise AI deployments in logistics, manufacturing, finance and wholesale. Everything published is grounded in real client work rather than theory, and the publication is editorially independent, it isn't affiliated with any vendor or platform.
